I had the pleasure of playing at the Patrician, a Merrill Gardens Community for Senior Living in La Jolla, California. The residents unknowingly were to be treated to some old-style Hawaiian and hapa-haole music during dinner by myself and friend Brandon. After a few songs, some of the people could no longer resist so they got up and started dancing the hula to our music. It was beautiful! From Beyond the Reef, to the Hukilau, Little Grass Shack, Somewhere Over the Rainbow , Hi’ilawe and more, this little treat of the islands turned out to be a blessing to all who were there. Mahalo for having us and I look forward to many more!
